Ashgrove Asylum is a work of fiction. The hospital, its staff, its patients, its wards, its records, its charter and every event described on this site are made up. Any resemblance to a real institution, a real person living or dead, or a real event is coincidental and unintended.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological or legal advice. The stories deal with distressing subject matter and are written for adults.

If any of it lands close to something real and difficult for you, please look after yourself first. Nothing here is worth your evening.

Using the site

You are welcome to read it, link to it, quote from it with attribution, and tell people about it. You may not republish the stories wholesale, sell them, or present them as your own work, and you may not use the contents to train a model or build a derivative dataset.
